Fashion Week in 3D

Aaaah I am very excited, it's fashion week and I am a bit overwhelmed with all the fashion my brain is processing at the moment...Anyway to get back down to earth I am collecting all my favourites at the moment ready for blogging analysis but for now I'd just like to share with you a couple of looks from the one collection that has really stuck in my head.

These pictures are taken from the Karla Spetic S/S11 collection from Australia.

When first seeing them, these designs had the odd effect of almost bending my 'fashion' mind in a different direction. I know that we have had patterns, prints and even peoples faces printed on clothes for a while now but this brings us to another level. The winding road shown on the skirt above looks almost 3D and seems to give us a glimpse of another place that we could just drive to through the skirt itself. We are all comfortable with clothes in different shapes and textures but what about clothes with different places on them? Clothes that stand out, not due to their design or the specific model wearing them , but because of the beauty, uniqueness and general alive 'real' feeling of the image shown on them!?
