The beauty of water-Spring Summer collections 2015

I went for a run this morning and had one of those moments where the music on my headphones blended perfectly with the sun glittering off the leaves and the breath puffing out of my mouth and everything was perfect and beautiful. I decided to take the idea of synaesthia and use it for this here blog post.
I am really interested by the idea of our subconscious mind. I have been told that our brain makes roughly about 2000 synaptic associations per second. While we might be only aware of one thought, underneath our brain is making all kinds off associations based on memories. Our brain essentially processes the information we take in from around us and then categorizes it against a database of hundreds of thousands of other experiences.

When I was flicking through the SS2015 collections I wanted to explore what kinds of subtler thoughts and associations I had. Here is something I sort of picked out of my brain- what do you think?

Continuing the theme of water - from an iceberg to a single icicle droplet - I love the extent of activity in this one drop: abstraction, reflection, and the way it contorts the image behind, all giving it its aspect of abstraction
